In the comparison of both phones, The micromax Canvas Knight A350 and Samsung Galaxy S4 has same display size, and the same OS but Galaxy S4 had android kitkat 4.4.2 update released and not released for Canvas knight let's will see if the Micromax releases the kitkat update for it's devices.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Now Available For 45,500/-

Saholic website has listed the Galaxy S5 for a price tag of Rs. 45,500 with expected delivery by 8thMarch 2014, however when you click the buy now button it says item isout of stock.
The S5 is powered by quad core processor running Android KitKat.TheSamsung Galaxy S5 handset was recently announced at the MWC 2014and its already in India. So far only theSaholic website has the handset listed though they don’t have the stock (official availability will be in April) , we might soon find other online stores putting up the S5.

Samsung Galaxy S5 unofficially unveiled
Mobile World Congress begins today, and before
the event could actually kick start a leaked video
showing the Galaxy Gear 2 has actually
unofficially uncovered the Galaxy S5
smartphone. Galaxy S5 is by far the most
spoken about and searched about smartphone
in 2013-2014.
This device is said to create new
standards in the smartphone industry.
Since December every gadget enthusiast has
been waiting for one possible glimpse of the
Galaxy S5 smartphone. Samsung is yet to
officially unveil the Galaxy S5 but a video
showing hands on with the Galaxy Gear 2 has
actually mistakenly revealed the Galaxy S5
smartphone.
The video goes on by showing the
design of the Gear 2 smartwatch and has 4
phones ( Galaxy S5 in 4 colors) in the
background.
With this particular leak it wont surprise us if
Samsung is actually launching 4 color variants of
the Galaxy S5 smartphone.
The colors shown in
the video are Black, White, Gold and Blue. The
question still remains that if it’s the premium
version of the Galaxy S5 or is it the affordable
one? Samsung is likely to launch the device in 2
hardware variants, one with Quad HD display
and the other one with FHD display.
So lets wait
for the official unveiling of the device to get the
clear picture of the device.

Samsung Electronics has announced the
Galaxy Core LTE (4G) optimized for
performance, with a premium design and is
4G enabled.
This handset has a dual
core processor and comes with a 4.5 inch
screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Core 4G LTE is 9.8mm
thick following the traditional Samsung
design pattern.
It is powered by 1.2GHz
dual core processor (chipset unknown).
Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean plus runs out of the
box.
There is 1GB on board RAM with 8GB
internal storage space along with 64GB of
external card support.
The Galaxy Core 4G
also houses a VGA camera on the front and
5MP rear facing camera that is Auto Focus
with LED flash support.
The TFT PLS screen is 4.5 inches supporting
qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels). Other
features are 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) with Wi-Fi
Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC with S-Beam, USB
2.0 and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.
The removable battery is of 2100 mAh
capacity.
This handset also comes loaded
with ChatOn, Samsung Apps, Kies easy
mode, SwiftKey app, S Travel / Translator /
Voice and Motion UI.
The Samsung Galaxy Core 4G LTE will be
available in selected countries in Asia. No
word about the pricing in India.

Samsung Galaxy Core Advance launched in Korea
Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy
Core Advance handset in Korea. The
handset was announced in 2013 and now it
is available in Korea for approx Rs. 23K.
The
core advance is an upgraded version of the
Samsung Galaxy Core that is currently
selling for approx Rs. 13K.
This single SIM Core Advance also comes
powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor. It
runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 with 1GB
RAM and 8GB internal storage.
Micro SD
card of up to 64GB is also supported. There
are dual cameras – a front VGA and a rear
5MP AF with LED flash.
Samsung Galaxy Core Advance is 9.7mm
thick and weigh is 145 grams. The TFT multi
touch screen is of 4.7 inches with 800×480
pixels resolution. Other features are 3G
(14.4mbps), 2G (GPRS, EDGE), Bluetooth 4.0
and GPS with GLONASS/A-GPS. NFC is also
included.
The Li-ion battery is of 2000 mAh capacity.
This handset comes with enhanced
accessibility features for the visually
impaired and disabled. There is optical scan
that can read the text in an image after
scanning it, instant voice recorder for quick
voice notes and advance light sensing
technology that can sense the brightness
and light directing using the handset
camera.
We can expect the Galaxy Core Advance
within few months, the price in India
however is not known.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo also known
as the lighter version of Galaxy Grand is
now available for a price tag of Rs. 17,901.
The Grand Neo is cheaper than the Grand 2
and priced close enough to the Galaxy
grand .
The Galaxy Neo is 9.6mm thick and comes
powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor
(BCM23550) cortex A7. The TFT screen is
5.01 inches supporting 800 x 480 pixels
resolution. This dual SIM handset runs on
Android 4.2 with 1GB RAM and 16GB
storage plus micro SD card support of up to
64GB.
There is a primary camera of 5 megapixels
resolution, it’s auto focus with LED flash.
The front secondary camera is VGA
resolution. The rear camera can record
videos in 720p resolution at 30fps.
There
are accelerometer, magnetic and proximity
sensors. I wonder why the light sensors
have been missed out or just not mentioned
in the specs.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo can play
full HD videos. Key features are 3G
(21Mbps), 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, Wi-Fi (b/
g/n) with Wi-Fi Direct and GPS with A-GPS
and GLONASS support. The battery is 2100
mAh capacity with a talk-time of up to 11
hours on 3G.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Mega 5.8 in India
last year. Now The Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus (GT-
I9152P) has appeared on the official Samsung
China website. And also this company will releasing Another Smart Phone In Galaxy Series. It has a 5.8-inch qHD (960 x 540
pixels) capacitive touch screen display, similar to
the Mega 5.8, but this one is powered by a 1.2
GHz quad-core processor instead of a 1.4 GHz
dual-core processor.
It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly
Bean), has a 8MP auto-focus rear camera with
LED Flash and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera and
packs a 2600 mAh battery.
It comes with dual SIM support with dual
Standby and dual SIM Always On feature. As
usual you have Group Play, Samsung Link, S
Translator, Story Album, Multi Window and
ChatON Messaging service.

Samsung Galaxy Star Trios (triple SIM) Budget Phone Coming Soon
Samsung has launched a low budget triple
SIM handset – the Samsung Galaxy Star
Trios that can handle 3 lines (Triple SIM) at
a time.
The handset comes with 1GHz
processing power and runs on Android 4.1
OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios is now listed
on the official Samsung Brazilian website .
This handset belongs to the Galaxy Star
family. The TFT screen is 3.14 inches
supporting resolution of 320×240 pixels.
The handset weight is 105 grams and
thickness is 11mm. It runs on outdated
Android 4.1 with 4G internal storage.
The
on-board RAM however is not mentioned.
The Galaxy Star Trios is powered by
Snapdragon MSM7225A (45nm) ARMv7
cortex A5 chipset clocked at 800 MHz
(Samsung site says 1GHz probably over
clocked) with Adreno 200 GPU.
There is 2MP camera on the rear without
LED flash support. Key feature is the 3 SIM
slots with 3G support. At this point we are
not sure if one can receive call from the
second / third SIM when the first SIM is in
use / active.
Other features are 3G (HSDPA), 2G (EDGE/
GPRS), Wi-Fi (b/g/n) with Wi-Fi direct and
GPS with A-GPS support. There are
accelerometer and geo magnetic sensors.
The battery is 1300 mAh capacity.
There is
no confirmation as to when and if the
Samsung Galaxy Star Trios will hit the Indian
stores soon.

This
handset runs on Jelly Bean OS and is
powered by a 1GHz single core processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Star Pro S7262 with
dual SIM support looks like other high
end Samsung phones. It inherits the same
traditional design with two touch buttons
and a dedicated physical center button for
navigation.
The Galaxy Star Pro (S7262) price may seem
attractive however the hardware content
may not impress many.
It is powered by
1GHz single core cortex A5 processor
running Android 4.1 with touch-wiz
interface. The handset is light weight at 121
grams with a 10.6mm thickness.
This dual SIM handset comes with a 2MP
rear camera (without flash) and the front
camera is missing. RAM is 512MB and
internal storage is 4GB, in addition there is
micro SD card slot to add external storage of
up to 32GB. The TFT screen is of size 4
inches with 800×480 pixels resolution.
Another disappoint part is that the handset
doesn’t support 3G. Key features are 2G
(EDGE), Bluetooth 3 and Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n). I
am not sure about the GPS. Battery is 1500
mAh capacity with up to 15 hours talk-time.

The Samsung Galaxy Star S5282 a dual SIM
smartphone with android jelly bean OS
running on 1GHz single core processor is
now available for Rs. 4,990.
This is a low
cost handset from the Samsung brand that
supports the 2G network only.
Galaxy Star S5282 is loaded with 512MB
RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The
display screen is of a smaller size, 2.9
inches supporting QVGA resolution. There is
a 2MP fixed focus camera placed on the
rear without LED flash support.
