The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo also known
as the lighter version of Galaxy Grand is
now available for a price tag of Rs. 17,901.
The Grand Neo is cheaper than the Grand 2
and priced close enough to the Galaxy
grand .
The Galaxy Neo is 9.6mm thick and comes
powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor
(BCM23550) cortex A7. The TFT screen is
5.01 inches supporting 800 x 480 pixels
resolution. This dual SIM handset runs on
Android 4.2 with 1GB RAM and 16GB
storage plus micro SD card support of up to
64GB.
There is a primary camera of 5 megapixels
resolution, it’s auto focus with LED flash.
The front secondary camera is VGA
resolution. The rear camera can record
videos in 720p resolution at 30fps.
There
are accelerometer, magnetic and proximity
sensors. I wonder why the light sensors
have been missed out or just not mentioned
in the specs.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo can play
full HD videos. Key features are 3G
(21Mbps), 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, Wi-Fi (b/
g/n) with Wi-Fi Direct and GPS with A-GPS
and GLONASS support. The battery is 2100
mAh capacity with a talk-time of up to 11
hours on 3G.
Samsung Grand Neo is available on
Infibeam for Rs. 17,901 .
