Nokia X (Nokia Normandy) has long been rumored about.
This is Nokia’s first Android smartphone and it comes with heavily customized version of Android OS.
What comes as a surprise is that Nokia has not launched just one device but has launched 3 devices overall running on a customized Android OS.
The devices are named as Nokia X (Normandy), Nokia X+ and Nokia XL.

It is worth noting that Nokia X and Nokia X+ do not have major differences, Nokia X is an entry level phone while Nokia X+ is a mid-ranger and has slightly larger RAM .
Both Nokia X and X+ would have a 4-inch WVGA display while the Nokia XL will have a taller body and will feature a 5-inch display (resolution not know yet).
The Nokia XL will have a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera for photography and video calling needs.
All the Nokia X series of phone will not have Google Playstore on board, however for applications user can rely on the Nokia’s Android Store (AoL) and other third party app stores.
These devices from Nokia are more like the Kindlefires from Amazon which are also not Google certified.
It is worth waiting and looking at the kind of response Nokia gets for its Android phone.
